I am a full-time professor at the National School of Earth Sciences (ENCiT-UNAM) and a researcher affiliated with Mexico’s National System of Researchers (SNII). I coordinate the DGAPA-UNAM-funded project “The Rhythm of Tourism: The Impact of UNESCO’s Designation of Music Cities in Mexico,” which focuses on analyzing how music and international designations shape tourism development and the identity of cities.
