MUSICMEX 2026 –
Open Call for Showcases

One of MUSICMEX’s core principles is to provide stage space for today’s most outstanding emerging musical proposals in order to foster connections and create new opportunities. Through strong partnerships between the project, independent collectives, and cultural institutions from Mexican state governments and other countries that recognize Mexico as the promising market it is, we will present a variety of national and international acts from the independent community across different musical genres. The future of global music. All of this with the purpose of showcasing musical diversity and the quality of talent under production standards.

Through the showcases, participating artists will gain visibility among promoters and bookers from Mexico and abroad who will visit throughout the week.

For this second edition, MUSICMEX seeks to increase the number of showcases, and therefore we are opening applications today for national and international music projects.

We invite emerging and established artists to apply for this second edition, which will take place on November 4, 5, and 6, in a multi-venue format to be announced soon, featuring programmers and professionals from the global music ecosystem.

Selected proposals will be chosen by a panel of six invited jurors from Mexico and around the world, all recognized programmers and key figures within today’s music community.

Artists selected will be eligible to participate in business meetings, conferences, workshops, private networking sessions, official showcases, media coverage during their performance and stay.
